The challenge
Different rules for every treatment and country
Every outgoing container follows different rules depending on treatment and destination. Data collected on the quay ended up in hand-filled Word and PDF forms, English certificates had to be rewritten for every shipment and invoicing was a separate step.
The solution
One piece of data, entered once
Every order matches one container and one treatment. The technician records field data following a procedure built for that treatment, and from that data the system generates certificates, the document register and the invoice. No retyping.
Treatments handled
A dedicated flow for every treatment type
BMSB
Sulfuryl fluoride fumigation for the seasonal measures of Australia and New Zealand.
Phosphine
PH3 fumigation.
Fumigation
Generic fumigation treatment.
Disinfection
Spray sanitisation.
Pest control
With permethrin or pyrethroids.
Radiometric
Radiometric inspection of the container.
How it works
From order to invoice
01Order
Container, customer, terminal, booking, B/L, seal and destination country. Price from the price list.
02Scheduling
Treatments are assigned to technicians on a weekly and daily calendar.
03Treatment
In the field the technician fills in suitability checklist, doses, temperatures and gas readings.
04Certificates
Certificate and fumigation record are generated as English PDFs from the data entered.
05Authorities
Register of issued documents, highlighting those to upload to the authorities’ portal.
06Invoicing
Completed orders become invoices, also in bulk. Once invoiced, the order is locked.
The system
